| Responsibilities of the Position: • Stays abreast of developments in the market to ensure the development of specified Marketing and Sales policies and works to develop an appropriate sales plan and schedule. Monitors and leads the Sales & Marketing department in the overall Portfolio Management and identifies cross and multi country sales opportunities; • Holds periodic meetings with sales staff to fully implement specified sales strategies and policies. Ensures participation and ensures that policies are well-understood and implemented and that work is conducted in accordance with the budget; • Ensures the regular monitoring of sales and marketing policies and capabilities of competitors. Makes recommendations to the Management regarding adjustments that need to be made. • Conducts the research and organization necessary to follow up and plan for participation in specialty fairs; • Monitors and controls actual sales on a regular basis together with profitability and costs as well as collections that need to be made and engages in activities aimed at preventing deviation; • Analyses profitability of freight charges and develops appropriate sales strategies. Monitors general operations and efficiency performance and reports to superiors; • After the approval of proposal, ensures the successful completion of the process by making reservations for cargo – transportation, performs the activities necessary for operational coordination, conveying other information required to track the approval of freight and expenses, or being a part of tracking process himself; • Ensures coordination between relevant departments to solve the problems of customers’; | ||
| Key advantages of performing the role: • At least 5 years of experience in shipping industry (at least 2 of them on managerial position); • Pro-active self-driven and result oriented person with excellent communication and team working skills and ability to work under pressure; • Innovation, initiative and creative thinking; • Excellent command of English language (both written and spoken); • University education; • Advanced computer skills – MS Office – Excel, Word, PPT; • Driving license If you match the criteria and you feel you can face the challenge, please send us your CV.
