Operations Manager - Varna

The Operations Manager is responsible for all the activities regarding initial setting-up and organizing, ongoing planning, managing and controlling of production, warehouse management and logistical distribution (i.e. the supply chain management process). Cooperates with the marketing and wholesale unit functions in analyzing feasibility of product delivery schedules. Coordinates a group of people and ensures their development. The role of the Operations Manger is a new one for the company. Main responsibilities As a newly established function in the company the appointed Operations Manager will have the following challenging tasks: -To analyze the existing operations environment in order to define business needs and to propose, draw and implement afterwards adequate operations management systems including: process and work-flow blueprints, working procedures and planning and KPI’s controlling systems. - To structure the processes defining input and output of every activity and to ensure the necessary organization and tools for control at every level. - To create and maintain a record of processes flow chart, procedures and instructions and to follow their successful implementation. - To propose relevant management systems that guarantee the smooth running of the company’s operational activity increasing its productivity, effectiveness and continuous improvement. - To implement working methods and schedules in line with the business strategy and future plans.

Key duties: • To service, adjust and repair machinery, equipment and components including removal and refitting in a safe, proper and economical manner using equipment provided. • Testing and diagnosing faults using recognised test procedures and techniques. • To observe, recognise and report on defects and/or symptoms of impending failure. • To interpret technical service information and data from manuals, bulletins and or computer files and data. Implement by applying correct techniques.

Qualifications & Requirements: • At least 2 years in electronic/mechatronic maintenance (frequency converter, regulated drives, bus systems etc.). • Experiences with SPS S7 (only trouble-shooting – not advanced programming!). • Switching authorization up to 1000 volt (is not really much for an experienced maintenance Technician). • Mandatory: good command of German (must understand work instructions). • High level of efficiency, Good diagnostic skills, Quality awareness.
