Operations Manager - Varna

The Operations Manager is responsible for all the activities regarding initial setting-up and organizing, ongoing planning, managing and controlling of production, warehouse management and logistical distribution (i.e. the supply chain management process). Cooperates with the marketing and wholesale unit functions in analyzing feasibility of product delivery schedules. Coordinates a group of people and ensures their development. The role of the Operations Manger is a new one for the company. The first and the most important task and responsibility of this position will be to analyse, draw-up the respective charts and propose an adequate management systems and procedures that set-up and organize the future efficient workflow of the supply chain management of the company. Main responsibilities As a newly established function in the company the appointed Operations Manager will have the following challenging tasks: -To analyze the existing operations environment in order to define business needs and to propose, draw and implement afterwards adequate operations management systems including: process and work-flow blueprints, working procedures and planning and KPI’s controlling systems. - To structure the processes defining input and output of every activity and to ensure the necessary organization and tools for control at every level. - To create and maintain a record of processes flow chart, procedures and instructions and to follow their successful implementation. - To propose relevant management systems that guarantee the smooth running of the company’s operational activity increasing its productivity, effectiveness and continuous improvement. - To implement working methods and schedules in line with the business strategy and future plans.

To be successful in this role you need to meet the following key requirements: - Ability to initiate and manage sustained change within a company - Analytical thinking and ability to work with figures - Previous operations management experience is not a must - Previous experience in management consulting role or internal audit will be considered as a plus -Experience in the field of finance, supply chain management and/or logistics management would also be appropriate -Relevant university degree
